How Dukaan Retail ERP collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website or use the software.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Dukaan Retail ERP website, demo and subscribed software services supplied by Shafi Technologies. A subscribing store remains responsible for the customer, employee, supplier and transaction information it enters into the software.

2. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide when requesting a demo, subscribing, contacting support or creating an account, including:

  • Name, business name, telephone number, email and address.
  • Account credentials, assigned role and employee association.
  • Subscription, billing and support correspondence.
  • Store data entered into the ERP, such as products, sales, suppliers, customers, employees and accounting records.
  • Technical information needed to secure and operate the service, including login time, IP address, browser information and diagnostic logs.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the software, authenticate users, process subscriptions, deliver support, troubleshoot faults, maintain backups, improve performance and communicate important service or account information. We do not sell personal information.

4. When information may be shared

Information may be shared with service providers that help us host, maintain, communicate or process payments, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, a valid legal process, or to protect users, the service or the public.

FBR, PRA or other fiscal information is transmitted only when the relevant integration is enabled and configured by the store.

5. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards such as access controls, role permissions, password hashing, session protection and operational backups. No system can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained while needed to provide the service, meet contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain legitimate business records, then deleted or anonymised where reasonably practicable.

6. Your choices and responsibilities

You may request access, correction or deletion of account information by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or backup purposes. Store administrators control their users and the business data entered by their staff. Keep passwords confidential and promptly disable access that is no longer required.

7. Cookies and children

The website and application may use essential session cookies required for login, security and preferences. The service is designed for businesses and authorised staff, not for children to use independently.

8. Policy changes

We may update this policy as the software or legal requirements change. The revised page will show its latest effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the software or your registered contact details.
